We support education through film or World music, Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae music, Culture and Heritage.
We support the most vulnerable and at risk people in our society through running world music and personal development projects and workshops.
We help bring communities together and make them stronger through targeted community initiatives around World music, film projects, culture and heritage.
We help artists and those who want to play, perform or realise their creativity teaching technical and creative playing and singing for individuals and groups.
We promote world music to new audiences through our partner and professional band, The Scorchers Rocksteady band.
What we offer
World Music - World music projects, events, gigs, initiatives and workshops for young people and communities.
World Films - Film projects, initiatives and films that support people, places and the planet.
Health and Well-being - We work to promote health, well-being and happiness throughout all our work but also run specific projects such as The Happiness Project and Music Therapy.
Heritage and Culture - Promoting unity & equality whilst celebrating culture and preserving history through World music, film & arts. Projects include telling the story of some of the great Jamaican and World music artists through to how reggae developed in the UK, the story of Ska and projects promoting understanding and respect for other cultures and how we can enjoy and integrate cultures to enable peace and unity in our communities.
Supporting people, places and the planet - We run projects and create films to support our world and its people including campaigns, festivals, gigs and events to raise funds for further projects and inspiring world music or film projects for the most vulnerable young people and adults in our society.
We run community projects both in the UK and abroad to help communities come together and flourish and specialist projects for schools, colleges and special educational organisations.
• We have had over 25 years of experience running charitable services involving music, film, arts and youth and community development.
• We tailor projects and courses to really suit the needs and aims of the client or outcomes required.
• We work with professional Artists & Musicians from around the world.
• Our facilitators are also professional youth workers, musicians, film makers, mentors, & arts therapists.
