Current Projects

Beating Homelessness

The Unity Roots Beating Homelessness project through Creativity is in partnership with Church Homeless Trust, Riverside and The Quays. It was set up in 2018 to support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Recording Studio

The Unity Roots studio is a dedicated facility for artists and bands just starting out on their journey, it is part of a music and arts project which works with the most vulnerable and at risk young people and adults in our community.

The Happiness Project

Incorporating 20 years of experience, our Community Happiness Project works with all people from all backgrounds and abilities including schools projects, working with the most isolated and vulnerable and at the heart of a community.

"Doing for vegetables what the Beatles did for Insects"

BEATROOT were formed early 2022 as a result of the Unity Roots music project at The Quays/Riverside in Sittingbourne, Kent.

The band soon decided to concentrate on classic rock covers including covers of Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles.

The seasoned players are tight and full of energy and will go down well in any setting.
